Brawl Breaks Out in New Mexico Courtroom After Murder Suspect Gets Attacked by Victim’s Family

Justice system, meet the street justice system.

In New Mexico, a courtroom became a fight club after a man accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend was attacked by his alleged victim’s uncle and stepfather.

As is evident in the video, uncle Carlos Lucero and stepfather Pete Ysasi were quick to spring into action upon seeing the 21-year-old Alexander Ortiz, only stopping their attack after a correctional officer used a taser on them.

Per NBC, “‘He killed my niece like a coward,’ Lucero is alleged to have told the deputy who detained him, adding, ‘It was worth every moment.’”
